We are pleased to inform you that Berens & Tate, PC, LLO has elected to merge its practice with the prominent national labor and employment law firm, Jackson Lewis LLP!

Why have we decided to join another law firm after 30 years as Berens & Tate? Because Jackson Lewis is just like us, only larger and with more resources. In case you haven't heard of Jackson Lewis, their practice is devoted solely to management-side labor and employment law, employee benefits, employment litigation, immigration, affirmative action, human resources, training, and related areas of workplace law.

This merger will now allow us to offer services in the areas of employee benefits/ERISA and affirmative action, as well as expanded services addressing your immigration, training, and other workplace law needs. With our addition, Jackson Lewis will now have over 550 lawyers nationwide in 41 offices.

From all outward appearances—other than our name change from Berens & Tate to Jackson Lewis—all of the important things concerning our dealing with and representation of you will not change. You will continue to work with predominantly the same staff and attorneys, we will continue to manage our office locally (our phone numbers and mailing addresses remain unchanged, though our email addresses will change), and you will continue to receive our best efforts in every matter we handle on your behalf.
